"The Ashley Furniture field of Broken Promises"
Nov. 2022 purchased a $1,250 leather recliner sofa. March 2023 the frame broke that enables the chair to be reclined on the right side. Purchased a 5 yr warranty April 4th repair guy showed up to take photos and write a story on the repair pretty much the same info provided by myself Mar. 24th. Apr. 8th I went to the store spoke with the manager who told me I had a 1 year warranty still in effect supported by the manufacturer. I asked why didn't the people I contacted 1st tell me that. Fast forward to now it's May 3rd I am in possession of the the hardware to repair the recliner waiting for a repair man to call me to set an appoint to perform the install. Now it's May 8th and nothing done the replacement parts sitting in my home collecting dust and no customer service who gives a dame about my situation at all. I wish to could take the chair back and get a full refund then I would be happy at this point.

"Horrible experience"
Ordered a jute rug and never received it. Called customer service and they claimed I did receive it at an entirely different address than my own. When I told the representative I didn't live at that location she said there was nothing she could do and I'd have to wait 5-10 business days for Ashley to call me back for a refund. Horrible customer service. I've never ordered from Ashley Furniture and never would again.

"Ashley Delivers Broken, Unrepairable Furniture"
We entered into a Sales agreement on Feb 4, 2022, for a Reclining Sofa and Loveseat with Console. We waited for delivery, which arrived March 12,2022.

Ashley delivered the Furniture Damaged! You sent two of your Technicians out to Repair your Broken Furniture! The First Technician, who arrived on April 14th. Your Technician could not Repair your Broken Furniture. You sent out a Technician again on July 7th. The Technician cannot Repair your Broken Furniture. I paid in Good Faith, in advance and hoped you would honor your agreement and deliver New, Good Quality, Unbroken/Undamaged Furniture. We did our part, otherwise you would never have entered into a Sales Agreement. You Forced Us to Pay in Advance and then Forced Us to Trust You! You Failed Our Sales Agreement!!! You delivered Broken Furniture and then You Refused Our Legal Right to Refuse the Furniture! You Forced Us To Keep It. Then you Demanded that we allow you to “Repair” the furniture. You wanted to Force Us to Repair what was supposed to be New, Good Quality and Unbroken/Undamaged Furniture!

You had no intention of Honoring our Sales Agreement. This is a Bait and Switch Scam. You bait us with showing us beautiful furniture in your showroom, you promise to deliver New, Good Quality and Unbroken/Undamaged Furniture. Then you delivery some Factory Rejected, Broken Furniture. You Refused Our Legal Rights to A Full Refund, You Forced Us to “Repair/Fix” the Furniture you delivered Broken/Damaged!

"Buyer Beware"
We purchased a power recliner from Ashely. We were told that an extended warranty would cover damages. Well, just over the 1 year mark, the chair motor stopped working and the mechanism bent making the chair list to the right and wobble. The extended warranty only covered the motor. So, we now have a very expensive broken chair in our house that no one will fix. I will never buy another piece of Ashley furniture nor will I ever recommend Ashley furniture to anyone. What a disappointing, expensive lesson to learn.

"Tech refused to take away broken part"
I purchased dining room chairs from store in Ocala FL. Back of one chair broken. Tech who came to replace chair back refused to take away the broken one. I called Ashely furniture many times but received no help. I am a disabled 74 year old vet with recent open heart surgery who had to load part into my car and take it to dump myself. Pitiful. I will never again buy from Ashley.

Received furniture with damaged panel. However, after numerous calls and emails with customer service problem not resolved. Highly recommend you shop elsewhere.

"Misleading website, horrible cust service"
Bought two nightstands online. They had plastic legs and plastic handles. Nowhere on the site did it mention plastic parts! Contacted Ashley, they want me to ship back?! It would cost almost as much as the purchase. I told them there is no mention of plastic anything in the description. They replied that it's up to me to research before buying and stopped contact with me. WTF kind of cust service is this? Unfortunately, my bank wont dispute it and now the listing for this product has been scrubbed from Ashley's site along with my product review. Never buying from these jokers again.

Update, they relisted it at a cheaper price, but my product review is still gone and I'm not allowed to submit another one. Just wow.

"Bad Customer service and So disappointed about delivery"
Today I was scheduled for delivery in the morning but they didn't have a part to assemble my bed so they scheduled another team in the afternoon between 4-6 pm. Nobody came, I called Customer service but the girl after 6 pm was so rude and she told me that if I am not ok with a 8,45 team I can write a review. This is my review: I am so disappointed about your services Ashley Home Furniture and I will stay away from you in the future!

"My son bought a L shaped couch from…"
My son bought a L shaped couch from this Store here in Utah only 2 years ago no children in his home and the condition of the sofa and the pillows look like he had this sofa for over 20 years it was made so poorly my husband has to take extra pillows that came with this sofa to sit on it--It makes noise on the arms and clicks when we press on them-LIKE CARDBOARD--If you are in need of a nice sofa go to Macys at least they stand behind their products they sell--STAY AWAY from ASHLEY --

"On March 31"
On March 31, 2023 I went to the Ashley Home Store in Downers Grove, IL to purchase a specific mattress and bed frame. I was going to purchase the tempurpedic adjustable base to go with my tempurpedic mattress but the employee suggested a cheaper bed frame So I went with that one. I spent approximately $4000 between both items. Once the purchase was completed she then told me it would be 7 days until I could get them delivered. I called 8 days later and said I still haven’t received a call to schedule delivery. The same employee said it’s going to be another 7 days. I wasn’t happy but I was understanding.

On April 18, 2023 I called and left a message for the employee who helped me and left a message. She never called me back. April 19, 2023 I called the store and went into an automated system where I was told my order will be shipping to their store on May 10, 2023. So I requested to speak with a manager and I spoke with Randy just 1 minute after the automated system told me May 10th and he told me it’s not being shipped to their store until May 12th. Randy was useless and did not offer any help or suggestions. So at this time I emailed corporate who said they would try to find the frame at another store. 2 days later I was advised, via email, that she could not locate it. I informed corporate that for the inconvenience they should upgrade me to the tempurpedic adjustable base. Corporate told me no because it’s more money. They did not offer me anything at all got the inconvenience. This was my first experience with Ashley Home Store and I will never shop there again!

"Furious customer with no bed"
I typically don't write reviews, for the most part I feel as though I confidentially get matters resolved whereas a bad issues turns to a happer camper, but this company is by far the worse. I ordered a mattress and california king bed. Bed fell back in February due to poor workmanship of the technician. Since then 3 service techs have visited my home to make an assessment, to have ordered parts that never came, umpteen phone calls asking the same redundant questions and not providing any source of remedy to the issue. As I'm typing this post, I called AF because Coralee who informed me parts were being shipped on April 1st, come to find out, they were never ordered, therefore I would have been waiting until dooms day to receive the invisible parts. Now, I have to take pictures to aide the incompetent people, (I have to do their job)!
I'm very pissed, at one time AF furniture was solid, and people cared. Seemingly, they just want a dollar and a sale. After this nightmare, I will not purchase anything else from Ashley! Their asses are ass backwards!

"Terrible customer service"
First of all, this is not an official Ashely store, but is what they called a Licensee. Sales process was nice and easy. However everything after has been a disaster. Delivery showed up 2 hours early, while I was on a work call, so I was only able to give it a quick look before they left. I wasn't too concerned because they said we have 72 hours to report any issues. That night we found damage with 2 of the items. It took 2 hours the next day to finally get ahold of someone who said "they submitted my request and some will call me back in 24-72 hours.

Then about 48 hours later I get a text that parts are being shipped to my house and once they arrive I can call them to schedule a tech to come out to repair.

I called the number given and told them this is brand new never used furniture I don't want it repaired, it should be exchanged. The person could only repeat what was on their script and ignored what I was saying. I kept pushing to escalate and all in all was given 4 different numbers to call and talked with 5 different people who all just said this was the process.

That is when I called the main Ashley number and found out this wasn't a official Ashley store, and because of that Ashely just washed their hand of the whole issue.

How is it ok for me to pay full price for repaired furniture?

After posting reviews I was contacted by their escalation team, who again could nothing but read from a script that this is their process.

"I purchased a bed"
I purchased a bed, when packaging for rails was opened, both bed rails were broken on ends, hardware bag was torn. This was definitely repackaged and unfortunately was given to me. It’s going on a month making calls, chatting with customer service and have been lied to time after time. And issue has not been resolved.

"Such Poor Service with no acknowledgement"
My daughter ordered furniture for her new home. It was purchased in an appropriate time frame to get it for the closing on her home and was promised that it would be delivered. The salesperson was contacted and confirmed that the delivery would be on the requested date. When there was no confirmation of delivery on the date expected, they were contacted only to be told that it would be April 18. When I explained that the children would be sleeping on the floor, a patronizing response was offered. Not once, did the salesperson call and apologize. I would stay away from this store as they are not honest and accept no responsibility for their mistakes.
